Since 1987, Christopher J Wray has pursued the unique and unusual for his album soundscapes. With music spanning the ambient, progressive and symphonic electronica genres, CJ has managed to create his own disctinctive style, which has gained him a prodigious fanbase. Here we have another example of emerging symphonic electronica from UK's finest.
His albums Dreamers (2002,) Dreamers Two (2004), The Time Bell (2006) and his debut album on Earth Academy Records, entitled 'BERLIN', have helped him to make his mark on the electronic music scene, More recently, he has joined Electro band INTELLIGENTSIA for future projects and performances. |

RETROSPECT *New!* Christopher J Wray returns to glance back and revise his best known music works into one compilation album, RETROSPECT, accompanied with 3 brand new compositions. Chris says: "The idea to modernise past songs for that crispier and fresher feel has always been at the forefront of my mind. Not only that, but to take a totally different view on those tracks, basing it on the way I compose today and using the latest technology to make it happen." RETROSPECT pumps out songs from as far as 1997 to 2006. BERLIN
BERLIN is the long awaited album from Christopher J Wray which remains to be his best endeavour to date. The culmination of 2 years work brings you his latest experimental electro collage, bringing a youthful new outlook to this genre, while bridging the gap between contemporary electronica and old school Berlin. Chris says: "To me, Berlin is everything I've wanted in an album for the past 20 years. Blendings of sequences, blips, whooshes and some darn-right raw and gritty lead/pad sounds. It also has my own usual blend of styles that range from my inspirations, new and radical ideas".
